In honour of one of our fabulous princesses, Charlotte Dawson …
Charlotte Dawson was one of us. She had her demons, her enemies, her good days, her bad ones. She was also one of the strongest female personalities I have ever known. Sadly, she was found in her Sydney apartment earlier today, believed to have died at her own hand. It came as a shock to family and friends, despite her lifelong battle with depression … no one saw this coming. Please check on your loved ones today.

Most people have heard someone they know talk of the black dog before … If you haven’t ever encountered the dog; it is easy to dismiss those who devote time to him with an offhand remark about snapping out of it. Other times, people remark on how if the black dog is, in fact, so dark and disturbing why do we bother to invite it in?
With Valentine’s Day just passed, and feeling loved up from all the sentiments that go with this time of year, I felt it a perfect time to share the writing of one of my absolute favourite princesses, Shannon, from Shannonisms! Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, authentic, sincere, heartfelt and real … she is also a damn good writer! And her tips for how to deal with a crush are right on the money! Bravo!

You know that friend you always turn to when you need relationship advice – yeah I’m that friend. And for the first time since dating M*, I need one of those friends for myself, because I’m crushing – and I’m crushing hard.
Currently my life is filled with unanswered questions and uncertainties – and it’s not something I enjoy one iota. What do you do? Do you savour the friendship but know you’ll always wonder what could have been, or do you go out there and do something about it? I’ll admit, I am quite the chicken when it comes to matters like this – wouldn’t life be so much easier for us girls if the guy made the first move. But maybe, it’s time we started making the first move. What do we have to lose?
Rejection. Rejection freaks me out. There’s only so many times a girl take being rejected before she starts thinking that all guys want a rose, and you’re just a daisy in their eyes.
Check out my 2nd ever Guest Post. This time I had the great honour of posting for She Said What, and look forward to many more collaborations together! Enjoy! x

A Kardashian story we should all be keeping up with …
Well it has come around to that time again … after a huge blow out over the festive season, we have once again resolved to a year of leading a healthy lifestyle, and shedding some bad habits. By now, that resolution has either formed into a habit … or was left behind somewhere in early January. Perhaps instead of making a new year’s resolution this year, we just resolve to stop Body Shaming … ourselves and others?
He’s back … and he’s spectacular!
